Bass

This talented musician's journey began at a young age, with piano lessons starting at 9, violin at 10, and bass at 14. It's no surprise that he's become the accomplished musician he is today. He toured Europe with the Aptos High Jazz Band in 1981 and further honed his craft at California State University, Long Beach, under the guidance of renowned instructors Jennifer Ruben, John Clayton, Chris Kollgaard, and Paul Ellison. His hard work earned him the Woody Herman Music Scholarship, the Bank of America Achievement Award, and the Music Achievement Award from the CSULB Music Department.

He's a highly acclaimed musician who has performed as a guest soloist at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Fest, where he was also voted 'Best Soloist.' His impressive resume includes tours with renowned ensembles like the Long Beach Symphony and The Pacific Symphony, as well as collaborations with legendary artists such as Ray Charles and Jerry Lewis.
His impressive resume boasts an equally remarkable theme park background. During the 1980s, he performed with the Stowaways and the Seasicks at the Queen Mary, a Disney-operated attraction. He has also played with Swing Soufflé and Red and the Red Hots, and has substituted as a jazz bassist for the Royal Street Bachelors, the Side Street Strutters, The Bootstrappers, and The River Rascals in New Orleans Square, Disneyland. Additionally, he performs with the Ellis Island Boys and Five and Dime at Disney California Adventure.
He's been picking and grinning his way through the bluegrass scene. His credits include subbing with the Miner 49ers at Disney's California Adventure and joining the cast of Billy Hill and the Hillbillies when they went seven days a week.
